Caroline Mrejen, PhD

Caroline is the lead imaging scientist in Weill Innovation Core and a senior scientist in the lab.

Caroline trains, advises, and works with biosciences researchers at UCSF and beyond to leverage a wide variety of cutting-edge microscopy techniques for basic and translational science.

Caroline received a PhD from the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and came to UCSF as a postdoctoral fellow, then became an adjunct professor in the department of Cell and Tissue Biology.. After working in industry at several cutting-edge scientific imaging instrument companies, including Olympus and Akoya, she returned to UCSF, to our major benefit.
