Daniel Sprague

Daniel is a junior specialist in the lab with a BS from Duke University in neuroscience and computer science.

They are interested in applying machine learning and data science to understand the underlying algorithms that brains use to integrate sensory information with ongoing internal states. They are also interested in the policy and ethics around neurotech and AI. In the lab, they have been focused on developing machine learning and community data harmonization tools to speed up analysis of whole-brain calcium imaging datasets.

Outside of lab, they enjoy thrift shopping, live music, and yoga.
